 REQUIREMENTS FOR PROSPECTIVE STUDENT

 MASTER PROGRAM ADMISSION (S2)

GENERAL REQUIREMENT

  1. S1 graduates and equivalent, Foreign university graduates must include a legalized photocopy of a certificate of equalization certificate from the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education or the Ministry of Religion.

  2. Minimum GPA of 3.00 (by attaching a legalized transcript of the S1 level and equivalent).

  3. Graduated from an accredited study program.

  4. Graduated from a university registered in PD-Dikti.

  5. Register online at  http://admisi.uin-suka.ac.id

For graduates of foreign universities, the general requirements are in accordance with applicable regulations.

NON-TEST SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

  1. Minimum GPA of 3.25, Especially for the choice of Study Programs at the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training with a minimum GPA of 3.35.

  2. Accreditation The original university or study program is accredited with a minimum of "B'.

  3. Choice of linear master's degree program (especially for Interdisciplinary Islamic Studies Study Program, linear requirements are ignored).

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS CBT TEST FROM HOME

  1. TOEFL/TOAFL score certificate.

  2. Leadership (attach a CV and supporting certificate).

PORTFOLIO SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

  1. Have a minimum TOEFL score of 450 or IELTS of at least 5 or a TOAFL score of at least 450 (TOEFL/IELTS must be issued by a Language Center managed by a credible university. TOAFL must be issued by the PTKIN Language Center).

  2. Have a research plan proposal for the thesis (The assessment of the research plan proposal follows the scientific paper assessment procedure).

  3. Recommendation letter from lecturer or professor and/or direct supervisor for those who are already working. You can download the recommendation form  [here].

  4. List of published scientific papers (if any);

  5. Leadership (proven by CV and supporting certificate).

ACCEPTANCE

Graduated from Strata one (S1) as evidenced by a diploma, passed the selection to enter UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta at the S2 level, and met the requirements determined by UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta.

 

DOCTORAL PROGRAM ADMISSION (S3)

GENERAL REQUIREMENT

Graduated from master's level with a minimum GPA of 3.00 or good graduation.

REGULAR COURSE SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

  1. Follow the interview.

  2. Submit portfolio documents which include:

  3.  Legalized diplomas and transcripts.

  4. Recommendations from two people (professor/doctor when taking a master's program or a supervisor for a master's thesis). You can download the recommendation form  [here].

  5. Statement of Purpose.

  6. Curriculum Vitae which contains: self-identity, education, writings, scientific presentations, and leadership (non-academic achievements).

  7. Dissertation research proposal (maximum 25 pages).

  8. At least 2 proofs of scientific papers that have been written in pdf form (hard copies of works brought during the interview).

  9. TOEFL with a score of 500 or IELTS with a score of 6 (for English) or TOAFL with a score of 480 (for Arabic) and for those who have not met, must fill out a statement letter of ability to obtain a TOEFL score of 500 (IELTS with a score of 6) or TOAFL 480 before dissertation proposal exam.

 ACCEPTANCE

Graduated from the S2 level as evidenced by a diploma, passed the selection to enter UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta at the doctoral level, and met the requirements determined by UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta.

 

REQUIREMENTS FOR FOREIGN STUDENTS (S2 and S3)

ACADEMIC REQUIREMENTS

Master (S2) :  

  1. Graduated with S1 and equivalent, from study programs and universities with a minimum accreditation of B/reputable, and a minimum GPA of 3.00 (scale 1.00-4.00) or  excellent

  2. Thesis proposal

Doctoral (S3) :

  1. Graduated from master's degree and equivalent, from study programs and universities with a minimum accreditation of B/reputable, and a minimum GPA of 3.00 (scale 1.00-4.00) or  excellent

  2. Dissertation proposal

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS

Regular Class:

1.  Foreign Language Study Program: 

  • Arabic: Arabic language report cards at least IKLA/TOAFL 450 (S2) and 500 (S3); Indonesian Language Proficiency Certificate (for participants from Non-Malay Countries)

  • English: English report card score at least TOEFL 450/IELTS 4.5 (S2); TOEFL/IELTS 5 (S3); Indonesian Language Proficiency Certificate (for participants from Non-Malay Countries)

2. Non-Foreign Language Study Program: Certificate of Indonesian Language Proficiency (for participants from Non-Malay Countries)

International Class:

  • Arabic : IKLA/TOAFL (S1: 500, S2: 525, S3: 550)

  • English : TOEFL/IELT (S1: 500/5, S2: 525/5.5, S3: 550/6)

REGISTRATION DOCUMENT REQUIREMENTS

      1. Registration:

  • Master (S2): CV, photocopy of language certificate, recommendation, thesis proposal, photocopy of the diploma, and transcript
  • Doctoral (S3): CV, copy of language certificate, recommendation, dissertation proposal, the publication (if any), photocopy of the diploma, and transcript

REGISTRATION STEPS

  1. Participants register online by uploading the registration document requirements (have not paid anything)

  2. Team assess

  3. Giving LoA for those who pass

  4. Participants come and re-register by bringing all the re-registration document requirements (including paying registration fees and tuition fees)
