Opening Speech by Rector State Islamic University of Sunan Kalijaga
Graduate School of theState Islamic University ofSunan Kalijagaproudly presentsEvent TheInternational Joint Conferencewith the theme"Legal Pluralism -A Challenge for Human Rights: Perspective from Palestine, Indonesia, and Germany"which will be held from 15 to 18 November 2021 at 19.00-21.00 WIB in a blended throughonline zoom meetingand offline at The Alana Yogyakarta Hotel & Convention Center. This conference was attended by all Graduate Schoolleaders, faculty deans, lecturers, activists, and students of theState Islamic University ofSunan Kalijaga.
This event was held in collaboration with the Graduate School of theState Islamic University ofSunan Kalijagawith Al Quds University Palestine, the University of Göttingen Germany, and the Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst German Academic Exchange Service.
On the first day, the conference was opened with remarks by the Rector of State Islamic University ofSunan Kalijaga,Prof.Dr.Phil.Al Makin, S.Ag., MA, followed by remarks from the convenors,Prof.Noorhaidi Hasan S.Ag., MA, M.Phil., Ph.D.from Indonesia,andProf.Dr.Irene Schneiderfrom Germany.
